Summit Students
About us:
The Summit Students exists to reach students with the truth of the Gospel and to equip them to live lives that bring glory to King Jesus. We are passionate about seeing students learn to see what it means to love God, love each other and will do whatever it takes to connect them to God’s mission of redeeming a lost world.
The Summit Students ministry at West Club starts with 7th graders and goes up to 12th grade. The West Club Campus has a unique opportunity to partner with the North Carolina School of Science and Math because of our location. The Summit Students ministry doesn’t just seek to reach out to NCSSM students, but it also seeks to connect students that have been a part of the Summit for several years. We want to be the place where every 7th – 12th grader at West Club comes to be connected.
If you have any questions about Summit Students you can contact Scott Rowan. Scott is the Student Ministry Coordinator at West Club and will be able to help answer any questions that you might have.
Events:
Elevate: Monthly at WCC
If you are looking for a way to connect with other Christians in your new school, then this is the place for you. Elevate is a time to worship, hang out, play games, drink coffee, pray together, eat together, and learn from God’s word (not all every time of course). Others we will have missionaries come and teach us about what God is doing around the world. Overall, it is going to be a place where you can come to hear God’s Word, fellowship, be encouraged and worship with other students.
Small Groups:
Small Groups are a time to dive deeper into Scripture, to get to know one another, to have fun, to go out to eat and much more. Our ministry and our church is based on the foundation of these small groups and if you miss these you are not going to grow nearly as much as you could. I know that you all have busy schedules with sports, clubs, hw, Guitar Hero, and much more, but I promise these groups will change your walk with God and life forever.
These groups meet all over the Triangle and are organized by region, grade and/or gender. You can search for groups near you by checking out this website. (NOTE: be sure to choose student on the drop down menu for “type of group”.)
